In addition, the strength of the connection may also be affected in high humidity environments, and some connection methods (such as adhesive connections) may result in reduced connection strength under humid conditions. Therefore, when installing in a humid environment, it is necessary to select a suitable connection method and ensure that the connection surface remains dry to ensure the firmness of the connection.
Cleanliness requirements are also critical to the connection quality and service life of plastic pipe fittings. Before making pipe connections, it is necessary to ensure that the connection surface is free of oil, dust and other impurities, which may cause poor connections and increase the risk of leakage. The tools and equipment used should also be kept clean to avoid introducing contaminants during the installation process and ensure the quality of the installation.
Lighting conditions also have a significant impact on the performance of some plastic pipe fittings, especially in applications outdoors or exposed to sunlight. Plastic pipe fittings exposed to ultraviolet light for a long time may experience aging, discoloration and reduced strength. Therefore, when installing outdoors, you should choose UV-resistant materials, or take appropriate protective measures for the pipes, such as applying anti-UV coating, to extend their service life.
