When opening or closing the valve, the operating handle should be rotated slowly and smoothly to avoid damage to the valve or wear of the sealing surface due to excessive force. During operation, closely observe the sealing performance of the valve. If leakage is found, take immediate measures to deal with it to prevent potential fluid leakage risks.
For PE ball valves that have not been used for a long time, inspection and testing before reactivation cannot be ignored. This includes a comprehensive assessment of the valve's sealing performance, operating flexibility, and signs of damage or wear. During the test, appropriate media and pressure should be used to ensure that the valve can withstand the expected working pressure and temperature to ensure its reliability in actual use.
In terms of maintenance, it is very necessary to regularly clean the dirt and dust on the outside of the valve to keep it neat and beautiful. At the same time, the sealing surface and operating mechanism of the valve need to be inspected. If wear or damage is found, the relevant parts should be replaced in time. In addition, for lubricated valves, regular addition of lubricant will help maintain the operating flexibility of the valve and prevent sticking due to insufficient lubrication.
